General Description
The 3rd rate is a 3rd rate ship of the line(if you didnt figure that out through the name), the third rate in the game is based on the Bellona and apart from paint job she looks and performs the same. The 3rd rate has 2 gun decks and can also mount cannons on her weather deck
Armament
the third rate can mount 24pd cannons on her lower gun deck, 18pd cannons on her top gun deck and 9pd cannons or 32pd carronade on her weather deck. For her bow chasers she can either mount 9pd cannons or 68pd carronades and for her stern chasers she can only mount 68pd carronades

Characteristics
The 3rd rate is not a fast ship, the pavel is faster however she is more maneuverable than a pavel and she does not require as much crew. Compared to a Constitution however she is slower, and not as maneuverable however she has a lot more guns.
How to get Crafting recipe
You can get the crafting recipe of the 3rd rate by random drop from crafting Trincomalees or crafting Constitutions, you can also get it as a random drop from breaking up 3rd rates, however this is not recommended as a 3rd rate is an expensive ship to produce.
